About Chris Gallagher

Chris Gallagher is a third-generation real estate professional focused on North Lake Tahoe and Truckee. Before joining Timber & Tide, he ran revenue and marketing for PlumpJack Inn, learning exactly what a night in the mountains is worth season by season.

He specializes in income-producing mountain properties — North Shore duplexes, Truckee vacation homes, and luxury modern residences. Chris has lived year-round in his Tahoe City duplex since 2017 and owns and operates the second unit as a high-performing mid- and short-term rental after a modern remodel. That hands-on experience shapes every conversation: What does it cost to carry? How will you actually use it? What is it worth when you’re not there? Which property gets you on the mountain fastest on a powder day?

First licensed in New York in 2007, Chris got his start in his grandmother’s Brooklyn brokerage, specializing in landmarked Victorian homes. Following roles as a marketing analyst for ad agencies in San Francisco, he marketed luxury vacation rentals in St. Barths at WIMCO Villas. He later relocated to Tahoe City, where he founded Gallagher Analytica, a digital marketing agency serving North Shore hospitality businesses. As a result, his sellers receive agency-level marketing—not just a yard sign.
